The location reported earlier is an error. The correct location is Audrey Moore Rec Center (within Wakefield Park).

Missed picking up your NVSO participant t-shirt, cap or your earned medal in any event?

The final opportunity to pick them up is Saturday, October 17 from 10:00am to noon at Audrey Moore Rec Center.

NVSO t-shirts, caps and earned medals will NOT be delivered or mailed!

NVSO 2026 has ended!

NVSO 2026 hosted the largest number of participants to date with 1,356 senior adults (ages 50+) registered to enjoy 96 events over 22 days at 34 locations across Northern Virginia. Our motto is Living Healthy Longer by providing opportunities for participation, competition, self-improvement and fellowship through various athletic and recreational events.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants, patrons, sponsoring jurisdictions, and volunteers including members of the NVSO Committee and Event Directors. We're wrapping up the paperwork and updating the website. Taking time to review what went well and where we can improve. Each year's NVSO gets bigger and bigger.

Look for amazing things at NVSO 2027 in September and October, as it will be our 45th anniversary. Till then keep up the good work in pursuit of Living Healthy Longer.
